Boreal Mountain will be suspending operations from Friday through Monday due to weather concerns.

In a release, the resort said that a strong atmospheric river system is expected in the coming days that will bring significant weather to the area.

The resort noted that the expected storms should deliver much-needed snow that will help build their base and set things up for winter riding going forward.

Their mountain operations, patrol, and snowmaking teams will work throughout the storm to preserve snowpack, protect terrain, and prepare Boreal for reopening and potentially expanding terrain as soon as conditions allow, the resort said in its release.

Guests who have lift tickets for the dates of the closure will automatically have a voucher loaded to their account to rebook at a future date.
