North Lake Tahoe firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Mount Rose Highway.
It happened just before 4 p.m. Saturday near the Mount Rose Ski area.
The fire caused some backups on the highway while crews put out the fire
The roadway was closed for about 10 minutes.
Crews were able to keep the fire from spreading into nearby vegetation.
No one was injured.
