California Highway Patrol (CHP) Truckee is inviting the public to a free e-bike safety class for adults and children this Saturday, Sept. 20.
The class will take place at the Truckee CHP Office located at 10475 Pioneer Trail from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
According to CHP Truckee in an online Facebook post, the event aims to prepare riders for fall conditions while promoting safe practices on roads and trails. “Summer’s almost over, but fall rides are calling! The leaves are changing, the temps are cooling, and e-bikes are still rolling,” the post reads.
The class will include information on rider rules, traffic laws, and trail safety.
No pre-registration is required. For more information, CHP Truckee encourages the public to call 530-563-9200 on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
