Officials in Placer County are searching for a person who used a stolen credit card to make some illegitimate purchases.

On Monday, January 20, a North Lake Tahoe resident called in to report a stolen wallet in Incline Village.

After that report was received, someone allegedly used the victim's stolen credit cards to go on a $1,600 shopping spree at businesses in Kings Beach and Tahoe City.

The Placer County Sheriff's Office has received a photo of the suspect in this case, and are looking for any information that may lead them to an arrest.
