Placer County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding an 83-year-old man who has been reported missing from the Colfax area.

John Liebhauser was reported missing after a welfare check at his home. Neighbors reported they hadn't seen or heard from him for several days. 

Liebhauser's car was last seen in Colfax on Saturday, June 6 around 10 a.m. His phone and car have since been found at his home. 

Deputies search the area around his apartment and checked local hospitals but have been unable to find him.

He is 83 years old, 5'11", 173 pounds with blue eyes and grey hair.
