A suspect has been arrested in a string of commercial burglaries in the Truckee area.
The Truckee Police Department had been investigating a series of at least six commercial burglaries since December 17, according to a post from the department on Facebook.
Multiple businesses along Donner Pass Road between Highway 89 South and Coldstream Road were broken into, and several items were stolen.
Investigators worked to identify a suspect in all of the burglaries, ultimately arresting 29-year-old Jose Martin Zarate-Enriquez and booking him into the Nevada County Jail for burglary, felony vandalism, and an outstanding arrest warrant for an unrelated criminal charge.
