Placer County authorities have arrested two women connected to a ring of thefts from Parallel Mountain Sports in Olympic Valley.
68-year old Clara Michelson of Hillsborough, CA and 68-year old Tatyana Zhukovsky of San Francisco were arrested on December 2 for the alleged crimes.
The alleged thefts were captured on camera on July 22, August 19 and November 25.
The two women are said to have made off with items totaling just over $1,500.
The duo was caught when a deputy recognized their vehicle on Highway 89. The deputy stopped them and immediately recognized the pair from the surveillance footage.
Michelson and Zhukovsky were arrested and booked into the Auburn Jail for grand theft and conspiracy to commit a crime.
