Partnership Douglas County and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It’s happening at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 1038 Buckeye Road in Minden.
People can drop off unused or expired medications and help prevent misuse while protecting the water system.
The sheriff’s office will be accepting prescription pills and liquids, over-the-counter medications, and pet medications. They will not be accepting needles.
