On Sunday, First Lady of the United States Dr. Jill Biden visited the Silver State.

During her visit, she made a brief stop in Carson City before heading to the National Automobile Museum in Reno.

The First Lady took the stage and began listing reasons why people should vote for Kamala Harris.

"Kamala will lower prices. She will fight back against greedy corporations and crack down on price gauging," said Dr. Jill Biden.

Later in the speech, Dr. Biden would talk about one of the biggest policies the Harris-Walz ticket is running on.

"Our health, safety and freedoms shouldn't hinge on the state you live in. As president, Kamala Harris will proudly sign a national law to restore reproductive freedom to every woman in every state in our country," said Dr. Jill Biden.

The First Lady also went on to claim that another Trump administration would lead to chaos, greed and division; and she expressed her distaste with former President Donald Trump's tax plans.

She also reminded people of how close the race in Nevada was during the 2020 election, and how tight the race will be this year.

Her main message today was urging voters to hit the polls and for people to get others excited about the election as well.

"After you vote early, convince ten more people to do the same. We have to work harder than we ever have before. We have to push further than we have pushed in the past. We have to meet this moment as if our rights are at stake because they are," said Dr. Jill Biden.

Once her visit to Northern Nevada wrapped up, the First Lady began her journey to Detroit, Michigan, where she will continue supporting the Harris-Walz ticket on Monday.
