The City of Reno Parks and Recreation Department is starting its pilot pedal boat program at Virginia Lake Park.

The program kicks off on Mother's Day weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The City says this is all part of its goal to add more recreation opportunities and activates for residents and visitors at Virginia Lake Park.

The pedal boats will also be available at Virginia Lake on May 25-27 for Memorial Day Weekend from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.

This program has been funded through a combination of discretionary funds and Ward-specific American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) to the City of Reno’s Parks and Recreation Department.
