Original Story, 2:30 p.m.:
The Reno Fire Department is on scene of a fire near Lear Boulevard.
The fire is about one half of an acre and is fully contained.
No buildings were involved, and no injuries have been reported, but some power poles were charred.
According to NV Energy, power was shut down for about 3,400 residents in the area around 2:15 p.m. due to the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Four engines responded to the scene.
