Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue (TMFR) crews are currently cleaning up after a fire caused damage to a house in Cold Springs.
According to a post from TMFR on X, firefighters have fully extinguished a fire at a single family home on Fairfax Court.
Fire crews on scene were able to rescue a dog after a preliminary search, and have reported no further injuries as a result of the fire. The home was unoccupied when the fire started.
TMFR says no surrounding buildings or homes were impacted as a result of the fire.
Two adults and the dog will be displaced due to the condition of the home.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
