Some fire restrictions are going into effect in areas around Lake Tahoe.
Fire restrictions begin Friday for all state lands on the Nevada side of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
It includes all Nevada State Park and recreation lands in the area.
This means you won't be able to start campfires or stove fires, smoke or use fireworks.
You also can't set of a gun in an area where a Red Flag Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service.
