Air quality in the Reno-Sparks area is being reported as moderate on Wednesday night.
The reports of moderate air quality come as smoke from prescribed burns has blown into northern Nevada.
Air quality in Carson City is also reported as moderate according to airnow.gov.
2 News Nevada crew has reported a strong odor of smoke in south Reno, with Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue confirming its source as prescribed burns in the South Lake Tahoe area.
A strong odor of smoke has also been reported in northwest Reno.
