Crews with Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, the Sparks Fire Department and the Reno Fire Department put out a fire at a home in Sun Valley.
The fire took place at Summerhill Drive and impacted two other nearby houses.
It also spread into the wildland and burned less than a quarter of an acre.
According to Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, the cause of the fire was arson, and no injuries have been reported.
Some people will be displaced. Out of the three homes affected, one is uninhabitable, one is damaged but livable and the third is in good shape.
