Businesses and residents in Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County have another chance to speak up about proposed public health fee changes, but the window to share feedback is closing soon.

Northern Nevada Public Health is accepting survey responses through Friday, Nov. 6, as it considers revisions to fees charged by its Environmental Health Services and Air Quality Management divisions.

The feedback will help shape recommendations presented to the District Board of Health, which oversees public health matters across the region.

The agency held two public workshops last month to give residents and business owners a chance to discuss the proposed changes. Recordings of those meetings are available on Northern Nevada Public Health's YouTube page.

The proposed revisions are based on a fee study conducted by MGT Impact Solutions. Residents and businesses can review the proposals and find the survey in English and Spanish at nnph.org/fees.
