Some Reno firefighters currently helping fire crews in Southern California are also helping with crashes in LA County.

Reno Fire Brush 8, which is assigned to Southern California Task Force 2650, stopped to help with a semi-truck crash along Interstate 5.

The Reno Fire Department still has two brush trucks committed to fires in Southern California.

On Facebook, the Reno Firefighters Association previously said that Brush 7 and Brush 8 were assigned to Gold Fire in the San Bernardino Forest, and then got reassigned to the King Fire in LA County just off of I-5.

CAL FIRE says the 591-acre King Fire is now fully contained after starting six days ago. It remains under investigation.

Meanwhile, the Gold Fire is 85% contained at 1,036 acres. It started on August 4th and also remains under investigation.Â
