Crews are investigating after a fire broke out in Sun Valley Wednesday afternoon.
It sparked just before 2 p.m. at 1st Avenue and Carnes Drive.
The fire put up a big column of smoke that was visible throughout the valley.
Truckee Meadows Fire says when they arrived they found a home fully involved that extended to two trailers on the side of the house.
They say everything was a total loss.
They contained the fire to the main property and said they had to use extra manpower because of the heat.
