The 14th annual Run on Tuna fundraiser has concluded, with thousands of cans collected for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
According to a release, 33,991 cans of tuna were collected as part of the event, which ran throughout September.
Since its inception 14 years ago more than 266,000 cans of tuna have been collected.
"Thrilled once again by the outpouring of people's generosity to donate to Run on Tuna," said the statement in part. "To have been able to donate over a quarter million cans of tuna to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada over the past 14 years is just incredible."
