The Secured Campus designation has been lifted at Kate Smith Elementary School in Sparks after being in place for about 30 minutes.

According to Sparks Police, there was a potential standoff with a suspect in the area, but the incident has been resolved.

Police say there is no threat in the area and normal operations have resumed at the school.
