Detectives of the Regional Crime Suppression Unit (RSCU) have made an arrest in a crime spree that happened between August 21 and August 24, 2024, involving several garage burglaries.

Victor Guillen was arrested on Thursday for three counts of Burglary, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Larceny, Destruction of Property, and an unrelated outstanding warrant.

According to RSCU detectives after conducting an extensive investigation, Guillen allegedly committed several garage burglaries the first reported on August 21, by a resident at an apartment complex on Double R Blvd, in Reno.

Police say on August 24, three additional victims from the same apartment complex made reports of their garages being burglarized, one of which was only an attempted burglary.

They say that each burglary involved forced entry into the outside of the garages, and various items were stolen from the victims, including a motorcycle. Â
