Ahead of its 30th anniversary, Artown has announced the headlining acts for this year's festival and unveiled its 2025 festival artwork.
Headliners for the 30th anniversary festival include Pink Martini, boogie woogie and blues musician Michael Kaeshammer, two-time Grammy winner Rhiannon Giddens, bluegrass group The Steeldrivers, and Michael Cavanaugh, who was hand-picked by Billy Joel to play him in the hit musical "Movin' Out."
Artwork for the festival has been created by local artist Connor Fogal, who was featured on 2 News Nevada's Someone 2 Know segment last year.
“I wanted to showcase our beautiful city with our beautiful desert sunset," said Fogal, who suffers from cerebral palsy, in a release. "It was the best experience ever just because they just saw me and my skills, not the wheelchair nor the disability.”
