Secret Witness is currently offering a $500 award for people to come forward with information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person wanted for vehicle burglaries.
The vehicle burglaries happened in the area of the Virginia City Foothills area.

ORIGINAL STORY
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple vehicle burglaries that happened early Tuesday morning.
The burglaries happened in the Virginia City Foothills area, according to a release from the Sheriff's Office.
Through their investigation, deputies determined that there were more than a dozen instances where victims reported things being taken from inside their vehicles.
Deputies believe the burglaries happened roughly between 1 and 5 a.m.
In each case, the suspect, who is pictured in the above photo, entered the vehicle through unlocked doors, the Sheriff's Office said.
They allegedly tried to enter dozens more vehicles that were locked.
Deputies are working to identify the suspect involved in this case and believe he was driving a newer-model white hatchback-style SUV.
That SUV is visible in the left rear of the above photo.
Anyone who thinks they might have home surveillance footage of suspicious activity during the time when the burglaries are thought to have happened, or who witnessed anything unusual, or have any information that might help in finding the suspect, are asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at (775) 785-9276.
