Baby’s Bounty and SilverSummit Healthplan marked a milestone with the presentation of a $150,000 check at the nonprofit’s Sparks location, continuing SilverSummit’s support for the diaper bank program for a third consecutive year.
The donation will help Baby’s Bounty provide a week’s worth of diapers and wipes for up to three children per registered family throughout the year.
The diaper bank currently serves more than 400 families each month.
The celebration included remarks from Baby’s Bounty CEO Kelly Maxwell, Sparks City Councilmember Donald Abbott, representatives from the offices of U.S. Senators Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen, and a spokesperson from SilverSummit Healthplan.
Following the presentation, the event continued with the nonprofit’s regular drive-thru diaper bank, distributing essential supplies to local families.
