This happened on the morning of Saturday, at approximately 9:59 a.m., near the intersection of California Avenue and Flint Street.
According to the Reno Police Department, first responders transported the bicyclist to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say the driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with authorities. They also say that speed and impairment do not seem to be involved in the case.
The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation.
