Carson City Post Office

In celebration of Nevada Day, the Carson City Post Office is introducing a special cancellation stamp and inviting the community to help design it.

Postmaster Daniel Adams is calling for creative submissions that reflect either the 2025 parade theme, “Wild Wild West,” or the broader spirit of Nevada.

The selected artwork will appear on the official stamp used during Nevada Day festivities on October 31, 2025.

Designs for the stamp must incorporate the following text: Nevada Day Station (or Nevada Day Sta.), Carson City, NV 89701, and October 31, 2025.

All graphic artwork designs must be sharp, clear, and suitable for reproduction on a rubber hand-stamping device.

The design’s dimensions must not exceed four inches in width and two inches in height.

If you are interested in submitting a design template, you can pick up design samples and full submission forms at the Carson City Post Office address listed above, or for more information or questions, you can call the post office at (775) 884-2300.
