Carson City, along with the Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), invites the public to take part in the second phase of a survey designed to understand better the transportation needs of drivers along US Highway 50.
The survey is an expansion of a prior survey that was done in late 2023.
CAMPO says they are in the process of developing Phase 2 of a corridor study along US 50 between the I-580 interchange into Carson City and SR 341 in Mound House.Â
Officials say the reason for the study is to better understand transportation needs as well as concerns along the corridor such as safety, traffic congestion, business access, and pedestrian and bicycle needs.
The plan will evaluate and recommend safety and operational improvements for all drivers within the US 50 East Carson corridor.Â
The survey is available online through March 14 and can be accessed by clicking here or by scanning the QR code below.
Project updates will be posted on CAMPO's webpage at www.CarsonAreaMPO.com.
