The Carson City Sheriff's Office arrested a woman on a report of abuse of an elderly person.
Deputies responded to a Memory Care facility in Carson City where surveillance video allegedly showed professional caretaker Kristi Haworth beating a resident on two occasions, the CCSO said in a release.
The victim of the abuse was 83 years old.
Haworth was placed on administrative leave and ultimately lost her job.
She was arrested and charged with abuse of an elderly person, criminal neglect of a patient, and battery.
