A deadly motorcycle crash temporarily shut down a portion of U.S. 50 west near Silver Street in Lyon County early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened just before 7 a.m. near Dayton close to Douglas Street.
Nevada Highway Patrol says the crash happened between a motorcycle and pickup with the unidentified motorcyclist dying on scene.
The investigation remains ongoing; be aware of emergency vehicles near the crash site.
