The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is seeking to identify a person who allegedly gained access to a construction site and stole copper wire.
This happened at Q&D Construction, located at 12050 Interstate 80 in East Sparks.
According to deputies, in an online post, the person arrived at the site with a two-stroke dirt bike, then gained access and stole copper wire.
The person eventually left the site, returned to their dirt bike, attached the copper wire to the bike, and sped off while dragging the copper wire with them.
Deputies say they are attempting to identify the suspect and are also trying to find the dirt bike.
