The Nevada Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation is offering guidance on unemployment benefits for federal employees affected by the government shutdown.
DETR says federal workers who are furloughed may apply for unemployment benefits, and those with reduced hours may also qualify for partial benefits.
Employees who are working but are not receiving pay may also qualify.
DETR says it's ready to assist people with getting their benefits and reconnecting them to opportunities.
