According to a Facebook post from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, seniors are invited to a free Senior Scam Seminar next month.
The seminar will take place on September 18 from 10:30–11:30 a.m. at the Kahle Community Center, located at 236 Kingsbury Grade in Stateline.
Attendees will learn how to spot red flags, avoid fraud, and keep their money safe.
The Sheriff's Department said in the post, "Don’t get tricked—get trained!"
