The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is looking out for our senior community, hosting a scam seminar this weekend focusing on their safety.
The seminar is free, and happens Friday, May 9 starting at 10:00 a.m. The course takes place at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center, located at 1329 Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville.
DSCO is teaming with the Better Business Bureau in sharing tips that can help seniors spot, avoid and report scams.
