North Lyon Firefighters responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Walnut Drive in Fernley. 

It happened just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

When crews arrived, they found a vehicle that had left the roadway and was on its side in a retention pond. 

The driver was able to safely leave the vehicle with help from North Lyon Firefighters and Lyon County Sheriff's deputies. 

The driver refused medical treatment and was turned over to the sheriff's office.
