Early voting for the June Primary election began Saturday at 10 A.M.
Early voters in Washoe County have the ability to vote every day from now until June 7th.
Most voting locations will be open from 10 A.M. until 6 P.M.
Early voting at the Washoe County Administration Complex site will start at 9 A.M. on weekdays.
Most voting locations will close at 5 P.M. on Sundays, with a few of them closing at 6 P.M.
Some early voters said they were eager to submit their votes on Saturday, because they feel it is important to make their voices heard.
"We wanted to vote early and start giving the registrar of voters an idea of the response that they can expect through the early voting time," said George Spatz.
There are 24 voting locations in Washoe County that use digital voting booths.
There are also ballot drop off boxes at all of those locations for those who filled out mail-in ballots.
Many early voters said the voting process was quick and easy, and if they had any questions, election site staff was there to help.
They also agreed that regardless of party affiliation, they want to see good voter turnout in Washoe County.
"Again, I think it is very important that you vote, the people that are eligible to vote should vote. I think if you get a low turnout, it's not good," said Christopher Taraveloa.
Nevada is a closed primary state, so early voters for the June Primary will only be able to vote for the party they are registered with.
