Engines revved and chrome shone on Thursday as The Chateau at Gardnerville hosted its “Cruise for a Cause Show and Shine” fundraiser in support of the Northern Nevada Alzheimer’s Association.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the community gathered at 1565 Virginia Ranch Rd for a day filled with classic cars, live entertainment, raffle prizes, and a shared mission to support those affected by Alzheimer’s.
Residents of The Chateau cast their votes to crown one vehicle “Best in Show,” while participants enjoyed lunch and received goodie bags.
“This event brings people together around cars and the community, all while supporting families impacted by Alzheimer's,” said Katie Nichols, Executive Director of The Chateau at Gardnerville.
Designed as more than just a celebration of automotive style, the event also served as a powerful show of solidarity with families across Northern Nevada living with the challenges of Alzheimer’s.
