Esther Bennett Elementary School placed itself on short lockdown around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday morning, after a weapon was seized on campus.

School Officials say that there was no active threat and that School Police were on the campus during the incident. 

The school resumed normal operations around 10:30 a.m. and no further information has been released at this time.Â
