On Tuesday morning the Fallon Police Department received information regarding a threat posted to social media about shooting up a school.
No specific school was identified in the threat, but FPD investigated and determined that the threat was directed towards Churchill County Middle School.
Officials identified the involved student, and they are currently in custody.
FPD has determined that there is no threat to the school staff or students at this time.
An investigation is still ongoing.
