Firefighters responded to an apartment fire in Fernley Friday evening.
North Lyon Fire says it happened just after 5:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on Lois Lane. Crews had the fire out within minutes.
Three people and three pets were displaced by the fire. No firefighters were injured.
One person was evaluated at the scene for possible smoke inhalation but declined further treatment.
In a post on Facebook, North Lyon Fire thanks neighbors who helped with fire extinguishers before firefighters arrived.
There is no word yet on a cause.
