2nd Street stabbing

Police are investigating a fight that led to a stabbing near downtown Reno. 

Police say they initially responded to a reported shooting involving a dispute over live music around 5 a.m. near the Siegel Suite Apartments near W. 2nd Street and Arlington Avenue.

Police say the unidentified suspect shot the victim several times with a pellet gun and that's when the victim pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed the suspect. 

Police say the suspect was transported to nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
