An investigation is underway after a house fire on C Street in Sparks early Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say C Street is closed between 5th and 6th Streets, near Victorian Avenue.

The duplex fire started around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Sparks Fire says one person suffered a cut to their hand and that wind may have helped spread the flames. 

Crews say the building is too damaged to allow anyone live there at the moment.
