A paving project on Sparks Boulevard is now underway and will continue through the weekend, according to the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County.
Crews are paving Sparks Boulevard between Baring Boulevard and Shadow Lane, with road closures in place through Sunday.
Sparks Boulevard is closed between Prater Way and Disc Drive. Baring Boulevard is also closed between Springland Drive and Goldy Way.
Crews will pave all travel lanes, turn pockets and the intersection at Baring Boulevard through Sunday at 6 p.m.
Beginning Monday, crews will pave Sparks Boulevard between Lincoln Way and Baring Boulevard during the day through Thursday. One lane in each direction will remain open during the work.
