An unoccupied BMW sedan caught fire early Friday morning in Sparks, prompting a response from police and firefighters.
Personnel from the Sparks Police Department and the Sparks Fire Department were dispatched to the area of 451 E. Prater Way at about 4:03 a.m. after reports of a vehicle fire.
When responders arrived, they found an unoccupied white BMW sedan heavily engulfed in flames. Firefighters extinguished the fire.
Following the investigation, officials say arson is not believed to be a factor in the incident.
