Nevada Highway Patrol is reporting a pair of crashes, at least one with injury, and at least one involving a Nevada State Police vehicle, in south Reno on Friday night.
One of the crashes happened in the area of South Virginia Street and Foothill Road just before 9:30 p.m., according to NHP's traffic incident page.
It is unknown how many people were injured or the extent of their injuries. It is also unknown how many cars were involved.
A spokesperson told our crew on scene about a second crash in the same area. It is unknown if anyone was injured in that crash.
Our crew was also able to confirm that a Nevada State Police vehicle was rear-ended in one of the crashes.
That trooper involved in the crash went to the hospital and has been released.Â
