The Food Bank of Northern Nevada will hold a special drive-through food distribution Monday, Aug. 31, for people impacted by the Hawk Fire.
The distribution will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Stead Airport, 4895 Texas Avenue in Stead. No pre-registration is required, and those who attend will have access to perishable and non-perishable food items.
The distribution is intended to help families who may have lost food during power outages, missed work because of evacuations or lost their homes in the fires.
