Reno Startup Week Summit

Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET) will host an Innovation Summit to kick off 'Reno Startup Week' with three presentations focused on innovation and artificial intelligence.

The summit takes place on the morning of Monday, September 29, at the Emory Club House in the Reno Entertainment District.

Organized by the Economic Development Agency of Western Nevada, Reno Startup Week is a week-long event designed to support and promote the region’s growing entrepreneurial community.

“We’re thrilled to feature NCET, an essential pillar of Reno’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, at Reno Startup Week,” said Doug Erwin, senior vice president of entrepreneurial development at EDAWN. “NCET’s Innovation Summit will bring a dynamic lineup of workshops designed to spark innovation and inspire collaboration across our community.”

The Innovation Summit includes the following presentations:

  • 9:00 – 9:50 a.m.: Amanda Long, founder of Smart Marketing Squad, will present How to Think, Work, and Lead Smarter with AI
  • 10:20 – 11:10 a.m.: Igniting AI Innovation in Our Community, a panel discussion moderated by Crystal Harvey, product manager at ReSim. Panelists include Juston Berg, founder of Adler, Will Brendel, general partner at Crossroads Venture Studio, and Erica Olsen, CEO of Madison AI
  • 11:20 – 12:10 p.m.: Sean Montgomery, founder of Connected Future Labs, will present Connecting Tech and Entrepreneurship, using his journey with Connected Future Labs as a case study
