East Fork Fire rescue crews responded to a crash involving a motorcyclist and a deer.
It happened Saturday just south of Gardnerville near Leviathan Mine Road.
A single motorcycle rider was taken by a Calstar 6 medical helicopter to a hospital in Reno.
The rider's condition and the condition of the deer have not been released.
