The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation near Fleetwood Drive and Budger Way in Lemmon Valley.
Deputies say they responded to the area around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday to find an unidentified body.
Detectives with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation.
While the investigation remains ongoing, there is no identified immediate threat to the public.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting its formal death investigation and will release the identity of the individual following next of kin notification.
