Governor Joe Lombardo hosted a ceremonial bill signing on Monday for a new bipartisan education bill.
Officials related to Senate Bill 460 said it will strengthen accountability for under-performing schools and launch a new literacy initiative for students.
The bill was first introduced by Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro earlier this year.
The governor and majority leader were at Mountain View Elementary for the signing.
