The Reno Philharmonic is hosting a free community concert series that will take place every Tuesday this summer.

"Harmony by the River" will bring live music to downtown Reno every Tuesday night from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the West Street Plaza.

The series started tonight, June 3 and continues through August.

According to a release from the Reno Phil, each week will feature different small ensembles of musicians play a variety of genres.

"Live music is a must during the summer months, and we’re thrilled to be able to fill the air with tunes for people to enjoy," said Laura Jackson, Music Director of the Reno Phil.
